Colorado stairs

In 2018, me and my friends went to this small town in Colorado named Manitou Springs. In this small town were some very cool places to hike. We could either climb Pike's Peak or climb the 3,000 step stairs. We planned at first to climb Pike's Peak but couldn't because of bad weather. So, instead we went up the stairs, and wow that was a bad choice. The worse part of this climb was how it plays with your emotions. When you start thinking you see the top it means that you got to the false summit and it means that you have got about another 1,000 steps to go. Once we got to the top of the mountain we ate lunch and then started heading back down. On our way down, me and my friends made a game out of who could pick up the most trash. It also started to rain for a bit. By the time we got to the bottom of the mountain it stopped raining. Before we headed back to where were camped we got ice cream at the best ice cream shot in the town.
